Startups have been the DNA of the Waterkant Festival since 2016. We make startups from Northern Europe visible and increase their chances of success through access to capital. Our unique format brings together investment-ready startups primarily from the energy/greentech, AI, open source, ocean/maritime and life sciences (with a deep tech focus) directly with investors - without endless pitches, but with real, value-adding discussions at eye level.

The Investment Vernissage takes place at an exclusive location with a sea view - a curated event that enables targeted matches and offers space for real conversations. To this end, we cooperate with trustworthy business angels and venture capitalists from Sweden, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Berlin and connect them with capital-seeking, investment-ready start-ups. In this way, we create a framework in which innovative ideas and capital can come together.
